Vaccinations

As with people, infectious diseases can occur in cats and dogs when they come into contact with harmful bacteria or viruses. Many of these diseases could be fatal and cannot be cured, but they can be prevented through a good vaccination program.

Dentistry

Animals build plaque and tartar on their teeth just like we do. Your pet should have an annual dental exam where the veterinarian examines the teeth and gums and looks for oral problems.

Surgery

Our facilities at utilize the highest standards of sterility and equipment to ensure your pet receives the best care possible.

Examinations

Regular examimations are just as important to your pet as they are to you. Making regular appointments will ensure your pet has a happy and healthy life.

Grooming

A bath may not be your pet's favorite activity, but sometimes it is necessary to have your pet cleaned and groomed. Grooming will also allow our staff to have a very close look at your animal which can allow us to diagnose any potential problems.

Ultrasound

Ultrasound imaging allows us to look "inside" the animal at different organs and tissues in order to determine whether there is some sort of disease or injury. We can also determine the nature of a disease or injury and whether treatment is having the desired effect.

X-Rays

These are available on our premises, so that doctors and clients can receive x-ray results sooner - especially important in emergency cases.

Blood Chemistry & Laboratory Work

For fast clinical services, numerous tests are run in our hospital, including blood and urine analysis, fecal testing, culture and sensitivity tests as well as tests for many other aliments.

EKG

A machine provides a graphic recording that shows electrical activity generated by the heart muscle. It is used to help diagnose specific cardiac anomalies such as disturbances of heart rhythm and conduction.

Endoscopy

Endoscopy is becoming an important part of veterinary practice. We utilize a flexible fibre optic endoscope which allows the clinician to view areas such as the trachea, stomach and colon without the use of surgery. This allows for the retrieval of swallowed objects from the stomach, stomach and intestinal examination and biopsy, placement of feeding tubes and examination of the upper airways.
